What do I call this EC?

^I DO have an internet business coordinated through eBay. Would CEO be the appropriate title, or would something like entrepreneur be more fitting?

^Hmmmm, ok you may be able to get away with CEO that way. But, I’m guessing this business is selling antiques/pawned items on eBay, right? If it is this, then this is an extension of your family business, although you may keep the majority of the profits, right? You can call yourself the Internet Sales Coordinator. Or if this is a total different operation from your family business call yourself an entrepeneur. Being a CEO is if you generate like several thousand dollars monthly and have a big operation set up. Think like this: When the Google guys first started their business, did they call themselves the CEOs?

How about N/A? If you feel you are so crucial for the company to succeed, you can express that through the job description or response. A title isn’t something you make up. In the business world it has a highly official implication. A COO (Chief Operating Officer–usually second in a company) can’t call him self “VP”, simple because he feels like it.

First of all, I would suggest you understand the nature of CEO. I would highly doubt you do anything near that caliber. Even the CEO of a small company, or the general manager of an ice cream parlor will have done more than what you have done… Is that an insult? No. You go to school. You have never worked in your life. Just because you can numbercrunch doesn’t make you a CEO.

Idk I dont really think that it’s an EC.
