WHAT DO I DO????? missing materials

The deadline for one of my colleges is in two days. i called them today to see if they got everything. they told me they were missing my essay…i sent it over two weeks ago. what should i do? should i send another one? Or should I wait to see if they get it? If its not post marked by Dec. 1st I’m screwed.

Dec 1st is the official deadline, but if you're missing a piece of material, they'll let you send that in after that. Don't fret :)

are you sure... they lady on the phone said it had to be postmarked by Dec. 1st

i don't want to irritate or confuse them by sending two of the same thing though

if she said it was missing, then mail it again...

You still have 2 days...

she said it takes two to six weeks to process it, but I don't want to dinf out in six weeks that they never got it in the first place

No one will be confused by two copies of the same thing. Sent it again with an explanatory note. Best to send this stuff with a receipt from the post office.

good thing i kept the receipt!

Fax or e-mail. Make sure your name, school, and ID is clearly indicated.

its about five pages of info because its actually a writing sample so it includes the rubric that the teacher used

Send the essay again. It will do no harm if they happen to get the other one. If the woman says "postmarked by December 1" you don't want to take any chances. DS had to do that with some references that got "held up" in the university mail room. It was no problem...better two than none at all.

thanks, i have decided to mail it tomorrow

mail it in OVERNIGHT delivery

Drive it there yourself.

Run it there yourself!
