What do I do now?? plz help

I applied to a certain school, for confidentiality's sake I won't say which, and I was accepted. But this certain school is my "last resort" school, the school I will pick if I don't get accepted anywhere else (which I already having making this school unimportant). But the school has the idea that I am planning to attend in the fall, it has sent me multiple letters about orientation and letters congratulating me on my "decision to attend (insert school here)" telling me that they look forward to seeing me in the fall and that I will be a good fit at the University, this is a decision I have clearly NOT made. I've looked back through the application and have not found any place on it which gives the option of early decision etc, and I know I didn't apply early decision. I don't want to tell them no, just that I am awaiting responses from other colleges to make my decision, but I'm afraid that, using their words, I am (insert college name here) bound. What do I do??

They are just using some pressure tactics, hoping that they'll convince you to enroll. They must really want you, so be flattered! My son is getting the same pressure from a school he was admitted to early because they have rolling admissions. No matter what they send in the mail, the response date is still May 1 and he doesn't have to tell them a "yes" or "no" until then. He likes this school, but it wasn't his first choice, so, naturally, he wants to get all the decisions in before making his.

If you are at all concerned, call the admissions office at this college and ask them what that response date is. Then relax and don't let it get to you. I know it's hard not to feel a bit guilty and weird when you are being pursued so hard, that's natural.
