So one of the reasons I chose a big state university (University of Michigan) was because I wasn't 100% certain about what I wanted to go into. I thought I wanted to go into chemistry/biochem/biology but the past year in AP Biology has made me completely change my mind! I love chemistry but biology was absolutely terrible (it may have been my teacher but I didn't enjoy it very much). So now I'm thinking something closer to economics but not necessarily business. I love math so I was considering just going into college thinking about being a math major but I'm just so worried because I really do love lots of other subjects and what not too! I know I'm only going to be a freshman but I feel completely overwhelmed!

So I take you like Chemistry and Math, look into chemical engineering it combines a good deal of both subjects, however I would personally say (as a ChemE) its more based on physics then chem.

The point of the liberal arts degree is to take a wide variety of classes for the first two years and discover what you want to do.
Chill out and take your basics- you’ll likely find something you love quickly, especially if you already have ideas.

So I definitely don’t think I want to go into econ! I know I’m not even 1 week into my freshman year but what if I want to go to law or med school isn’t it like too late already to start preparing for that?
