What do I do!?

<p>I got a letter about my school's prom in the mail today. The money is due by march 28. I haven't stressed myself out over anything like this all year.</p>

<p>In every issue in my life I have had some plan for, but for this I have never been so confused.</p>

<p>I have a good group of friends but NONE of them are girls. Part of the problem is that I go to an all boys school. I think its pitiful. I don't have any idea what to do.</p>

<p>I need a date by march 28. Yet I don't even know anyone to ask! I don't feel comfortable telling my friends I have no one to ask. And I want to go with a girl that I would know. Not some blind date.</p>

<p>I don't know what I can do to not only meet a girl before then, but to ask to the prom.</p>

<p>I am so confused. I think I am royally screwed.</p>

<p>maybe you can ask some of your friends to hook you up. Other then finding a date your self there is nothing you can do.</p>

<p>Do you have a sister school? I go to an all-girls high school, and we have a sister school that's all-boys. It's been like that since 1851, actually. We have events together, so students are able to socialize at multiple school events.</p>

<p>Don't you have any female friends? If you don't, I would suggest you asking a friend to help you meet someone beforehand and get to know her, so she wouldn't look like a stranger to you at prom.</p>

<p>If you don't mind not knowing her very well, then should have time to get acquainted with someone. Surely you see girls somewhere...around town or something? If you are not comfortable enlisting the help of your own friends, then you might just have to make an extra effort to be friendly to the girls you do see. You also might have to be a bit forward (at least if you are shy this would be forward) and ask for a phone number/email to get to know a girl better. good luck!</p>
