Im just curious. Im still planning to do Co-Op but Im wondering what people who don't do coop have to do. I heard its been changed recently. Also, do they even need to do a single coop to graduate now?

Co-op is not necessary for graduation (this might vary by major, I’m not sure). I think the requirement is experiential learning, which you can fulfill multiple ways (co-op, service learning, and some other things I think).

I know a guy personally that volunteers at a Church instead of his co-op.
Guess that’s one of the options too: Community service.

Service-learning is basically doing volunteer work for a particular class (related to coursework).

Some majors DO require co-op (ex: math) so keep that in mind.

If not, it can be switched with service learning (volunteering as part of a class- common for education minors), study abroad, or undergraduate research.
