So.. what else do I need to do in order to get in? Am i on the right track? Or should I just forget about GWU?

the best you can do is keep up the grades, taking rigorous courses, and improve SAT scores at least up to 2000-2150’s.

Your EC’s are good, but when I saw your EC’s they were a bit over the place. Most admission officers seek a student that is well-rounded but has a focus. If I could recommend you anything, I would do something meaningful to YOU over the summer. Sure it’s great to say I like to help people, but that is a cliche and will not help you stand out.

Write a good essay, visit the school (it’s great, i visited during the weekend), and if u get a chance do an interview. They also offer phone interviews if travel to DC is not possible. I have to warn you though, kids I saw at information session came from europe and western US, so may not look favorable if you don’t show interest in the school.

You have pretty solid chance. I would say admit if you do ED/EDII

Apply Early Decision. It is the biggest boost available.

Improve your SAT score anyway possible…you don’t want to see anything under 600 and I would strive to get at least one category into the 700s.
