What do i need to do to get in?

I've posted this before, just not in the princeton forum. I would appreciate it if someone could tell me how I'm doing so far. Here are my stats:

GPA: 3.78 unweighted, no rank
SAT: highest 2200 (710M, 740CR, 750W)
*happy with all my scores except math; already taken it twice, should i take it again? My GC advises me to do so.
SAT II: 750 Physics, 740 Bio-M, 710 U.S., 650 Chem. (again in fall), Math IIC in fall
AP: 3 Euro, 5 U.S., 5 Physics; Next year: calc bc, chem ap, stat ap, span ap, econ ap, gov ap, eng ap

Mathletes-want to take amc 12 and hopefully qualify for aime and such

Won awards in research at local fairs (honorable mention, merit etc.) 4x, silver medal for national latin and spanish tests, bronze for LI math fair, member NHS, NSHSS, Tri-M, NSHS

So if i maybe retake my SATs, do well on my II's, and write some ill essays, what are my chances? Nota bene: i'm an asian from long island, haha.

one last question: if my chances suck, what can be done to improve them from now until next november or january, depending when I apply?

Well Princeton is always a reach for anybody no matter how good their stats are. I'd say with a killer essay that shows them your personality and your passions you have a decent shot of getting in. By the way I love latinam!!!! 3 times state champions!! NLE Gold medalilst!! woohoo plus I compete in latin grammar at the JCL competitions..I got third at state. I'm obsessed with latin!!

haha i was one damn point away from a gold on the latin exam
oh well..thanks alot crazysci

haha ya there were a couple of people in my class who were one pt away..that must suck

You look like you're on track.

What do you need to get in? Well... you need to have gone to RSI, won a gold at an international olympiad, have discovered and patented the cure for cancer, written a book, broken at least one world record, and made 3,000+ posts on CC before decisions come back.

Otherwise, you're a strong applicant, but still a coin toss. You look like me, lol.

haha what are your stats frozen

Let's put it this way: you're in the pool. Now Pton will randomly pull a thousand kids out.

Don't worry, you've got as good a shot as anyone else. It's pretty much a coin flip.

so that's how it is for everyone i'm supposing

I don't think they pick out kids "randomly." In your essays you have a great opportunity to come across as a likable, high-energy, intellectually curious, caring person. Go for it.

haha thank you. yeah i didn't believe it was random either
