what do I need to get into Wellesley?

Okay so Im going to be a Sophmore in High School and my counselor introduced me to Wellesley College and I fell in love. Since im only into my second year of High School I just would like to know what I need to do to help my chances. Here are a few of the things I've done so far:
Freshman year classes:
Honors Biology
Honors Geometry
Honors World History
Honors English
Spanish 2
Concert Band on Clarinet
Marching Band

My marching band will be marching in the 2010 Rose Parade, I also play Classical Guitar and piano.

This summer I volunteered for two weeks, 40 hours with a school program for children of gang parents and volunteered at my local library. I wanted to start volunteering at City of Hope hospital but that has to wait till next summer for transportation reasons. Also next summer i will be traveling to Guatemala to volunteer for 9 days.

Next year i plan on taking AP chemistry, AP euro, Honors Algebra II, Honors English, Spanish 3, Wind Ensemble (our advanced band), and marching band and will be starting my own club called Hunger Awareness. With this club we will be raising money to help feed children in 3rd world countries. I was also given the position of project manager for ALS club, in which i will be organizing fundraisers to raise money for Lou Gehrig's disease research.

What else should i do in high school to help my chances?....oh and i have an unweighted gpa of 4.0

You’re fine. Everything you could possibly do as a Sophomore, you’re doing. Try to keep your GPA as high as possible this next year, because Junior year kills. Don’t slack your Senior year. Your SATs will also be important, but you don’t need to worry about that quite yet. Also, your application essays will be important. But you DEFINITELY don’t need to be worrying about that yet.

Oh, and stick with what you do. If you’re in marching band now, stay in marching band. Colleges love to see that you commit yourself to the things you love, so don’t drop those things just for the sake of your resume.

Yeah. You’re on the right track. Keep up your grades, continue with your current ECs and participate in activities you actually enjoy, and do well on your SATs/ACTs/APs. You definitely have a shot at Wellesley if you continue doing what you’re doing. Good luck!

Enjoy high school! It goes by too fast (same with college)! There is no set track that you have to be on to go to Wellesley. Make choices because they make you happy and its what you want, not because of college/ Wellesley. Wait another year or two before you start worrying about college. There are many parts of your application that Wellesley takes into account, not just your transcripts and ecs, but your test scores, recommendations and most importantly your essay.
