what do i need to score to get a 700

on average, how many questions can i get wrong on all three math sections and still get a 700?

like 4? That was a pure guess.

a 700 on math? That would be around 10-15 Questions. < Not a guess :p

Check out the marking grid in any SAT prep book.

Raw score of 48 would give you a 700 more or less, so 4 wrong give or take the curve. No WAY is 10-15 wrong a 700 unless a SERIOUSLY GENEROUS CURVE. 10-15 wrong would put you into the mid 600 range and below.

With 10-15 wrong you get 500-600 not more! To get 700+ you may not get wrong more than 4-5 questions.

Yeah, no way is 10-15 wrong a 700.

There are a total of 54 math questions. Your raw score should be about 49 (maybe 48 if you're lucky) or higher to be safely past 700.

-8 is about a 670 so I'd say 5 or 6

to bad i haven't been in geometry for 4 years. stupid crap...

I still only miss 1 or 2 though.... argh.

-8 is a 660

oops! I meant 0-5

well 0 wrong would be 800.....

it depends on the curve

first time i took it i got 2 wrong and got a 770
2nd time i got 3 wrong and got a 720
