What do I talk about when visiting a professor of a prospective grad school?

I will be visiting one of my prospective graduate schools (for a thesis-based MS in engineering) later this week and just found out a couple professors I would be interested in doing research with have time to briefly meet with me. This is great news - I was already planning on visiting and seeing the campus and city, so it works great that I can meet with them.

This is last minute notice and I was wondering what I should talk about with them. I don't want to leave the meeting and realize there were other things I should've asked. What do prospective grad students typically discuss in these meetings? I plan to ask about availability of research assistant openings, campus environment, her research, and possible a few other things. Any other suggestions?? I welcome any suggestions.

Thanks!

Look up each professor’s research on the web and read about it. Prepare a couple questions for each professor about his or her research. Although you already are accepted in the graduate program, individual professors may be evaluating your interest in what they do and whether or not they want to offer you a position in their lab. Show your curiosity and your enthusiasm for their work.
