what do kenyon people look like?

I'm going to be blunt and ask a question that will make me seem really superficial. Are kenyon students generally good-looking? Or rather, do Kenyonites seem to lack god-given beauty?

I really like Kenyon, but haven't been able to visit. One thing I would like to consider about where I attend is the relationships I'll encounter...and I do hope to meet some pretty girls.

in short:
are there good looking girls at kenyon?

thank you for letting me be superficial

Sure--if you like the artsy, earthy, intellectual, birkenstock types. The place is very small so slim pickins' if that's your main priority. To give you another red-blooded, teenage male, hormone-driven, shallow perspective (my 17-yr-old son's), he had the place checked off his list before we had even driven out of the campus grounds...and did I mention the place is small?

Well, I'm currently considering Wabash, the only all-male college left in existence, so I'm not THAT shallow...

you make it sound as though they're all feminists. which is possible, but i'd like to think there would be more down-to-earth people.

Hey,

I visited Kenyon and know some people there and I would say that the girls are slightly better than average but not like obsessed with their looks.

That is a Kenyon student's photo album if that gives you a better sense of what Kenyon people look like.

Isn't Hampden-Sydney in VA also all-male? Wabash must have a sister school somewhere close-by so you'll have access to all those hot girls?? (lol) I'll excuse your lack of knowledge of the definition of a feminist since that movement began before your time. A feminist may be none, some, or all of those things...artsy, earthy, intellectual, down-to-earth, or whatever. Since you asked for an answer to a superficial question, I thought I'd pass along my son's superficial impression of his visit to Kenyon. Don't read too much into it. It's a good academic school which a good start.

Your considering Wabash?? GREAT and yes HSC in VA is also all male niether school has an "offical" sister school. I'm only considering HSC in addition to my local cc.

and no i don't attend Wabash

when i visited wabash, they explained how at HSC in VA offers some coed classes or something like that, so wabash is basically the last bastion of all male education

You will not be happy with the selection here. There are some very good looking girls, but they are rarely single. I would suggest USC for example...or a large university in general. However, the intelligence level may drop to annoying levels at some large state schools.

A friend of mine in school did an overnight visit, and he remarked how alot of the guys at Kenyon are disappointed with "the girls", if you know what I mean.

Although I think deciding on a school based on the "general attractiveness of the opposite sex" is sort of ridiculous. It's not unreasonable that it's a factor, but it should be a rather small one. In my opinion at least.

Every schools has it hotties and it's uglies.

That said, I'm a pretty girl who goes to Kenyon. I have lots of pretty girl friends (and I don't just say this to be nice). Let me also just say that girls in the webshots link aren't very representational of Kenyon ladies.

It's interesting that many males find the females at Kenyon to be a general disappointment, because every single one of my female friends find the men here to be highly disappointing. Personally, I find a lot more females on this campus to be attractive than males (and I'm a heterosexual female in a longterm relationship).

It's kind of gross that this is a factor for you. Good luck getting one of the hot girls at Kenyon. Like MolBioAce said, they're usually taken... by guys who aren't good-look-aholics.
