i heard mulenberg is too fluffy, and i know its called the caring college but my friend says it was too lovey dovey, and felt a bit like a daycare center. did anyone else feel this way when they were looking at mulenberg. and how is lehigh different from this. does lehigh have any "rough edges". does it have a work hard play hard atmosphere, instead of mulenbergs so called fluffy caring atmosphere. what is your personal opinion as a lehigh stduent?

can’t wait to hear the responses on this one…great thread…

Lehigh students don’t travel over to Muhlenberg to party. It is a much smaller campus and students have no real reason to ever go over there. Muhlenberg is a great small liberal arts school but it is not Lehigh.

Yeah exactly what waitingdad said. We don’t think of Muhlenberg.

We actually rarely think of other schools. The only time we do is when we are expressing our distaste for Lafayette.

To answer your other questions… Lehigh with out a doubt has a work hard party harder atmosphere. Greek Life is really big here and admissions tries to keep that aspect of the school under wraps. Its a really tough school academically but I know kids that go out every night except Sunday and still manage to get A’s and B’s in everything.

I recently toured both schools and must say that Muhlenberg was far too small for my liking. The campus, population, activity choice- it felt like a high school. Somehow Lehigh seems bigger than it is. Comparatively, it looked like a more exciting, more involved, more attractive school
