<p>I have been preparing for applying to MBA programs and would appreciate your assistance. Work experience includes 4 years as a U.S. Air Force Space Ops Officer-- can't go into much further detail than that, but leadership was definitely involved. I have already taken the GMAT and scored a 740. As far as stats go, I graduated University with a Bachelor of Arts and a 3.5 GPA (not the highest, but definitely worked hard for it). I also was (and still am) heavily involved in the local deaf community. I do a lot of ASL interpreting and event volunteering now that I have more time for it. Its something that has been pretty consistent involvement in my life since secondary school. I am not sure what exactly they look for in college ECs (since it was a while ago) but I was president of my sorority my last year of college. I don't have a long laundry list of ECs because the things I was involved with took up most of my time, which could explain the 3.5 GPA. I've been offered Aerospace Defense contracting jobs, but turned them down because pursuing an MBA is something that I am very serious and passionate about. MIT Sloan, Northwestern and U of Chicago are at the top of my list, but I really would like to know how realistic this is for me. Being that the Air Force is my only real full time work experience, how would these programs look towards this? Will I need to get a civilian job before applying, or will my military experience suffice?</p>
