What Do They Expect

Hey, I'm just worried if I will be able to be accepted to Phillips Exeter Academy.

What people do Phillips Exeter expect?
What qualities, and does it matter what race you are, like Asian or somthn.
What are some hooks Phillips Exeter is looking for?
What talents are they looking for, are they looking for like talented musicians, artists, etc??
And does it matter if you turn in your application early? I just sent mine in, just a couple days ago, I hope there's space available.

Thanks for you help

You just have to be yourself and see where it takes you.
It doesn’t matter how late you turn in your application just as long as you turn all the forms by Jan. 15

yeah, are there any people who got like 80%s and 88%s on their SSATs and still made it to those good schools like Andover, Exeter, St. Pauls?

[Phillips Academy - FAQs](http://www.andover.edu/Admission/Pages/FrequentlyAskedQuestions.aspx)

look here under “What is the average GPA/SSAT score of applicants that are offered admission to Andover?”. It says the average andover student received in the 93rd percentile and maintained an A average.

what about in the mid-90’s? (like 94, 95, 96)… can you get into Exeter or Andover or SPS with that score?

Well, I got into Andover, Exeter, HOtchkiss, and Groton with 82%. Calm down people. I know people at Andover who got 70’s and 60’s too. Be confident.

benevolent4them, how did you make it to those schools with just an 82%? Did you have a lot of hooks and EC’s and stuff?
