What do colleges mean by take the most rigorous academic course load? All of the electives my schools offers are not honors so if I took electives that weren't honors soph. year, will that affect me? Should I have taken other academic subjects that were honors/AP?

Generally, 4 years of math, science, English, and history, and 2-4 years of foreign language. If your school offers honors or AP courses in those areas, you should be taking them. If there are no honors or AP courses in a certain subject area, or if you couldn't take them because of a scheduling conflict, schools will understand.

Colleges don't expect you to take classes that don't exist - you should be fine if you didn't take any honors electives.

like ^^, just take the hardest classes available at your school, scheduling conflicts aside.

colleges will know that you are, based on your school report that you send up.
