<p>As far as I can tell, the prompt is asking you to describe the environment in which you grew up and how it has shaped your veiws of the world. </p>
<p>I would include a basic biography as well as how you interacted with others (family, friends), and how your experiences overall shaped the way you think. Specific instances may work, but I would be more general.</p>

<p>Did they include a word count? If it is the standard 250-500 words then you would have a difficult time doing anything more than a specific anecdote.</p>
<p>Even an 18-year old with a boring life will not be able to write a quality biography in 500 words.</p>
