What do USC students do on weekends?

Generally speaking, do most kids go to parties? Does anyone ever go the theme parks like Disneyland or Magic Mountain (Six Flags)? Or go to the beaches?

yes to both theme parks and the beach

PAAARRRRTTTYYYYYY. But Tuesday/Thursday are more party nights than Friday/Saturday, to be honest. And partying is much more accessible than Disneyland/the beach anyway. Plus, Disneyland is definitely not free. :)

I do all of the above :)

Once you live at USC, you are eligible for the Disneyland Southern California Select annual passport for about $180 (not much more than a 3-day ticket). It is weekdays only and excludes Spring Break and summer, but is very useful for those who want to go during the week throughout the school year.

Or you can get a Premium Passport w/ parking for $459  and go whenever you want!

sip champagne with Kobe Bryant and Phil Jackson

party with a-list celebs in hollywood…

Please check out the previous long thread above started by robindrive. Los Angeles is filled with entertainment, dining, sports, cultural, outdoor and educational choices.

On campus there is Visions & Voices, new student center, lectures, films, art exhibits, sport events, theatre productions and many musical events.

Also, check out Exposition Park, right across the street from USC.

FYI: Disneyland is most crowded when those annual passholders aren’t blocked out.

From personal experience, it is the opposite: Disneyland is *most *crowded on weekends throughout the year, all summer and spring break - which are the block-out dates. It is *least crowded weekdays Sept through May, which are the times you can use the Southern California Select passport.

*excluding the VERY crowded Spring break, Christmas through New Years, and Thanksgiving

^ October is jammed too…with the new Halloween Time promotions.

Weekdays in July and August are surprisingly the least crowded…only full pay tourists and deluxe passholders admitted… Disneyland has almost a million annual passholders.

You may be thinking of DisneyWorld, where the awful summer heat affects July and August crowds, but at Disneyland SUMMER, Spring Break, Christmas to New Years and Thanksgiving are the MOST crowded times.

And, again from personal experience, October weekdays are some of the least crowded days to visit, and the weather is wonderful.

*By the way, we (our family of five) are Southern California Select Annual Passholders :)

Party scene is pretty huge on Tuesday and Thursday nights at the fraternities. Not too much going on Friday or Saturday night except everybody tailgates before football games on Saturdays. Haven’t heard of many people at all doing things off campus regularly.
