what do we actually need to send to colleges?

i'm applying to several UCs, CSUs, and then USC.

-I'm thinking that we don't need to send our transcripts to any of these places now because we self report our grades.

-Similarly, the college classes I've taken are self-reported so there's no need to send college transcripts either.

-SAT/ACT scores are self-reported too, right? Unless I'm taking one in December past the application is sent in I suppose.

-Teacher/Counselor Recommendations are mailed in

Since I'm assuming a lot of this and haven't had real concrete evidence telling me whether or not these are right, help out please. just confirm or correct these statements

bump.........

for UCs and CSUs you do not send transcripts (including college classes) until after the admission decisions. SAT scores are sent to the schools you are applying to through collegeboard online.

so even though i self-report my ACT and SAT2 scores on the online application i still have to spend all that money to send them now too? whaaatt.... that doesn't make sense

Sure it does - self-reported scores may be false. The only way the schools know what an applicant's scores really are is by having them sent officially.
