What do wear to convocation?

<p>For guys, can we just wear a buttoned-down shirt and khakis? Or do people wear suits?</p>

<p>I highly doubt a suit is necessary… Is it even supposed to be that formal?</p>

<p>A lot of people wore nice things last year which caught me off guard. I was just “that guy” with a polo and slacks. It’s just convocation, the whole thing is pretty stupid imo just don’t go like a total bum.</p>

<p>watched the youtube video and it seems like most people just wear a shirt and a pair of khakis. Don’t see anyone with ties…other than the glee club.</p>

<p>Also, for the record, convocation is the one time that every single person from your class will be there, and nobody will know why, since it is a bit of a pointless event. Just sayin’.</p>

<p>The desserts after convocation are legendary. I crashed that as a sophomore, junior, and senior.</p>
