What do with a 2.4 GPA?

<p>I do believe the entire point of this thread is the opposite :P</p>

<p>Get your grades up and study for the LSAT after you graduate. Get into whatever law school you can and if you want to trade up, you can transfer to a better law school after a year of excellence at the so-so law school. The bigger question might be asking yourself if you have the inner drive to get straight A’s just because you can. Law school will be more demanding than your current school. You will probably feel better about taking out loans to fund law school if you are confident in your ability to get good grades at the under graduate level.</p>

<p>Not that I would want to particularly, but Harvard law would accept transfers from, say, MD law? (Just as an extreme example).</p>

<p>You would transfer in after your first year of law school. No, it wouldn’t be easy, there may not be many spots, and not every school accepts transfers, but I know that Stanford Law School and Boalt in California accepted transfers in my day. The transfers usually came from a school that was a step down in the food chain.</p>
