While there is no such thing as a perfect, in all aspects, university, there are those which manage to excel in nearly everything compared to their counterparts. What schools stick out to you as almost perfect?

Factors that should count include(and are not limited to)-

Academics- classes offered, rigor of classes, research available
Quality of Life
Campus Facilities and Beauty
Weather
Athletics
Campus Dorms
Campus Dining
Diversity
Location
Administration
Professors' role with students

Factors that can count for some include(and are not limited to)-
Attractiveness of the student body
Nightlife
Party Scene
Greek Life
Financial Aid
Off-campus Facilities
Grade inflation/Somewhere in the middle of deflation/inflation
Prestige

Stanford, Rice, and Pomona(Liberal Arts) really take the cake for me personally.

Obviously these vary from person to person, but I’d say Stanford, Michigan, Virginia, North Carolina, and maybe Cal (idk about how I’d feel being a minority there b/c I’m white). Luckily, I was accepted and most likely will be attending Michigan.

Guys, it might help if you explain why you chose what you chose.
Rice and Stanford are pretty obvious.

I chose Pomona because:
Academics- one of the best
Quality of Life- one of the best
Campus Facilities and Beauty- one of the best
Weather- one of the best
Athletics- Okay. I’m not a sports person though so it’s not a big loss for me.
Campus Dorms- one of the best
Campus Dining- one of the best when you factor in the fact you have 7 dining halls and 4 other locations where you can use your dining money
Diversity- Great, but not amazing like Rice/Stanford
Location- one of the best places with mountains, beaches, deserts, cities all in a nearby location
Administration- often earns Runs like Butter in the PR
Professors’ role with students- One of the best
Attractiveness of the student body- don’t really care, but the girls are good looking
Nightlife- LA is nearby, but in general it’s pretty quiet.
Party Scene- The 5 consortium always has something going on
Greek Life- Nonexistent. Something I personally am thankful for.
Financial Aid- One of the best
Off-campus Facilities- The 5 College Consortium.
Grade inflation/Somewhere in the middle of deflation/inflation- Has inflation, which I would much prefer to deflation
Prestige- A top liberal arts college, and employers know this.

Our tally so far is:
Stanford=6
Michigan=5
UCLA=4
UTA=4
UCB=4
UNC=3
Rice=2
UVA=2
Duke=1
Wisconsin=1
Pomona= 1
NYU= 1
Princeton= 1
Yale= 1
Columbia= 1

UCLA is not much different in that respect. But what’s the big deal – lots of people do fine at schools where they are a member of a minority ethnic group.
