I need extra cash! What can you suggest?

I’d suggest working…

I grade, but you know, whatever strikes your fancy and is hiring…

If either your psychology or economics department does decision making experiments they often pay well. When I do ones for my econ department I usually make around $20 an hour (for sitting in front of a computer playing a trading/bidding-based game with other people).

@NBrink the OP was obviously asking about working. he/she was asking some suggestion of jobs. you cant just go on assuming people would steal for getting some extra cash.:D

I was joking, but to be fair there are a lot of things besides work to net extra cash, selling plasma, selling eggs (Apparently pays quite well if you meet the requirements), etc.

pretty lame concept:rolleyes:

If you live in a city, work as a server at a nice restaurant. I work Friday/Saturday evenings and make around $40/hour in tips x 8 hours (two four hour shifts). I go to school in Washington, D.C. though where there are many restaurants in nicer areas where people tip well.

Babysitting. I babysat through college (in NYC the going rate is $15/hr plus cab fare, I assume that’s on the high end). I got a lot of homework done after the kids went to sleep, and being paid to do homework isn’t a bad deal!!

If you get lucky, some research jobs pay. I got $15/hr for my research job and was able to work on my own schedule!
