<p>... or whatever else you can think of to do with your life - its been said a million times, but most undergraduate degrees don't really limit you to anything career-wise</p>
<p>You apply again after spending time doing something worth of value to you, strengthing your statements, possibly retaking the MCATs if that was the problem, asking for new letters maybe. That's what I would do. I think if it's a real passion, there's really no way of quitting it.</p>
<p>being a high school teacher seems like a decent deal to me- 2 months vacation every year?</p>
<p>Also, they're really looking science teachers.</p>
<p>There are several quite famous Professors at major medical schools who did not get accepted and ended up getting their MD from Mexico or the "Carribeans"</p>
