What do your typical weekends consist of and when do you do these things?

For me:

Friday night-relax or meet up with friends
Saturday-morning I take a class for a hobby i like, go around SF maybe, and then come home and relax and then sometimes party.
Sunday - try to do hw

Used to do nothing. But now I need the weekend to prepare for career fair and look for any relevant internships or summer research opportunities. Growing up sucks.

I’m not sure if this is the sample set of CC, but most people I know does something interesting. I try to get out all the time. Go workout (rock climbing, tennis, bball, yoga, run swim, bike, hike, etc) I also go to cool events that are happening at the moment. Maybe hit up bars and stuff later that night or drink at friends places. Then on Sunday I do like a week’s worth of work.

Yeah Ruby Skye was pretty fun! I went to see Paul van Dyk. Fun stuff. Although my quads hurt like hell after dancing for 5-6 hours…Yelp event was pretty amazing, TONS of free good food (Ike’s sandwiches, Phat Matt’s BBQ, etc.) and lots of cocktails. I felt pretty fancy lol. Also there was a sumo wrestling competition for all the participants…pretty interesting!

(Sorry if this post diverges from the main topic)

haha I made it diverge so not your fault! =) Are you 21? Ruby Skye sucks when you’re not 21 lol and I’m not into dubstep… but that’s good that you liked the yelp thing too. why do they have those events and who comes to them generally?

Oops sorry for the long response, yeah I’m 21 (just turned last month). I’m not really into dubstep but more like progressive trance (PvD, Dash Berlin, Armin van Buuren, etc).

The Yelp events are for Yelp Elite members. You basically write enough reviews that you get nominated to become a Yelp Elite, then when you do get accepted, you get invited to these sweet parties where there’s free catering and booze (so you have to be 21). You can also bring a +1 who is not signed up on Yelp (so all my friends are asking me to be my +1’s lol). I guess the parties are just one way restaurant businesses show their appreciation to people who write Yelp reviews since they’re usually the ones catering.
