What do you do with summer program evaluations?

I did summer@brown this summer and received an evaluation from my grad student teacher. Now the question is what do I do with it? Can I use it for my college apps?

anyone…?

depends, i have head that a lot of them are actually the same thing given to many people, but I personally am not sure. If you did somehow though approached a professor and got on good terms with him and asked him to write you a letter/recommendation or something, that can help. but most summer program evaluations don’t amount to a lot. You usually just go there for the credits.

Actually I took a 3 wk course for no credit and just received a certificate of completion and an evaluation. I didn’t pay for the class though. I was part of a special program that covered my cost. going to brown was the greatest reward but I’m just wondering what the point of an evaluation is, in addition to personal feedback. Is it worthless?

Well then the evaluation itself is pretty worthless. Though you can definitely talk about the things that you experienced and maybe will interest you in the future, somewhere in your college app.

That’s disappointing…I thought the evaluation might be useful :frowning: thanks for your insight!
