Believe it or not, I eat oranges, or sometimes I drink sports drinks.

i work best at night, so i sleep a lot and after a time when i know i wont get sleep for 48 hours.

Cherry Coke and Pop Tarts

And I workout right after class so I have more energy for staying up late

they work, but are a bit dangerous if takes in excess amounts.

and, if you smoke... do it.

I chew gum. It works, trust me.

cold water, and drinking lots of it usually helps me

Coke, Energy Drinks, or chew gum.

It depends how late I am staying up. If I only plan on staying up until 2-3 soda or something, but if I'm going the whole night I want some COFFEE!

Starbucks Cinnamon Dulce Lattes at the moment. :)

I'd probably do an iced double tall white chocolate mocha with whip and caramel sauce on top. Ya I work at Starbucks.

I just ride a wave of adrenaline topped off with three cups of green tea. Considering I have track every morning for two hours and am taking an 18 hour load, that's all the motivation I need NOT to end up staying awake late.

coffee. even though it doesnt seem to work too well for some reason.

my good friend OJ. does the trick everytime. when there's no OJ around, I actually start getting sick. OJ is also great for waking me up. hell it's the first thing i look for in the morning.

get up, do some exercises, splash cold water on your face (or just soak your entire head)... and maybe eat icecream w/ coffee =3

I know my advice is useless as its not really something you can do on the go...

But...if you have about 4 days of time ahead, and now that your going to be awake for a lot of time, try and cut out caffeine and stimulants from your diet for a while and break yourself of them.

Then, on the day you need to stay awake, any caffeinated substance you use will be more potent because your body isn't used to caffeine anymore.

I agree with gone2gofish... and don't you say your advice is useless, gone2gofish !! Really... if the person asks for advice, then he/she determines if it's useful for him/her. But if it works for you, great!! :D

Get up and stand by the wall during class if you think you're going to fall asleep. If your prof has never seen this before asn asks what you are doing, ask them if they would rather you sleep or stand. Usually, they will let you stand.

I must be the only person that actually stays awake without something to "help" me. Then again, I also make a point of sticking to a regular sleep schedule and doing work during the day so I don't actually have to stay up all night, in most circumstances. If I do have to, I just make sure I keep eating actual meals every 4 hours or so.

Coffee.

Splashing water on the face and talking with the person next to you in the bathroom who is laughing at you for doing so helps too.

Cokes full throttle energy drink, coffee, gum, dip(nasty), or cigs. For cigs make sure you have the will power to quit after a week of smoking for exams.
