<p>So i just got rejected by Stanford :(
anyway :
i am applying for biology or chemistry
SAT I: 800M 600V
SAT II: 780IIc (640(writing) 630(bio))retaking in jan (will it be allowed/on time?)
GPA 4.0 unweighted (4.1 weighted)
average to good rec.
my ECs and award are weak:
part of student body (executive member)
cofunder of arts club
volunteered at offices
very average essay :(</p>
<p>is there any supplements to the common apps for cornell and well there be an interview if i am an international student?</p>
<p>Interviews will be less likely if you're international. I'm in Canada and I didn't get an interview. Of the 8 ivies, the only that didn't visit my city was Cornell for some odd reason. It'd depend where you are.</p>
<p>Besides the Common App, you will need:
International supplement
Cornell Essays supplement</p>
<p>y they should accept me, pretty much b/c i work hard i guess (but then again, everyone works hard) so...
Unfortunately, i am not leaving anything out. Sadly this is all i have :(
oh wait
i worked at a university as a lab assistant
i took a college course during the summer
and the office was like a campaigning office
I have 2 math awards (not really significant, top 10%)
...
umm.....
i think that sums it up :(</p>
<p>do toefl since your verbal sat is below 650, or else take the sat over to try to get your verbal above 650. i had gotten a 630, went to school in the us since i was 5, and my g.c. told me i should think about the toefl since my sat score was below 650 (he even showed me the email someone sent him on how to make my application better) and that's what it said. i didn't do it, but i still got in. but that's only because 630 650, not a big difference. but 600 650 is.</p>
<p>but then again, it says toefl is only advised for those who hasn't be taught in a english speaking school for the past 4 years and i don't belong to that group</p>
