AP Calc, Final, seniors leave then juniors learn chess for two weeks
AP Lang, Read Othello and our final is on Othello
AP Euro, “Top Ten” mini projects, basically just a 4 min power point then we’re done for the year. Someone is doing top ten cheeses, someone else top ten vampire cities, it’s not serious, and it’s easy
AP Psych, mini research project, took three days, and juniors watch movies after seniors leave.

AP Calc: Our “teacher” is still trying to teach us. We have a test next week. I hate him. I seriously knew nothing on the AP test whatsoever, but he’s still making us listen to him lecture and some other BS.
AP Lit: We are doing Film Analysis. So basically watching The Truman Show and doing a socratic seminar on it. This is because she is not the actual teacher (our teacher just had a baby) but she was our student teacher who is hoping to get a job at our school, so she is being evaluated by one of the other English teachers.
AP Bio: This week we did whatever we wanted. Our teacher was in California with two of my classmates for ISEF so we played card games, talked, looked at the yearbooks, just chilled. Next week we’re going to start watching Outbreak. If we finish that early, we’re going to watch Osmosis Jones! : )

APUSH: Not sure as of the moment, will update later (we watched Gone with the Wind the last week, but she says we will be doing work next)
Bio: Project, 4 tests, a final, labs.
Basically work work
English: Writing university essays and then relaxing for two weeks
No movies yet! (except APUSH)

Computer Science:

This might sound strange, but 6 of the people were chosen earlier for Microsoft’s Hunt the Wumpus program. (In fact, near the greater Seattle area, ~6 people are always chosen for this) So these 6 people work to program a game called Hunt the Wumpus and in June all schools go to Microsoft to compete for their games.

The rest of the class has to program their own game called Zork :P… pretty fun, its better than ours right now because it’s easy and fun…

Physics: Movies and cards
Chem: Biochem and fun labs
US History: Boring movies/nothing
Psych: Cards with the occasional movie

Physics: Watch Firefly
Biology: Watch House, though apparently discontinued after someone fainted
English: Read Catcher in the Rye
APUSH: Do review presentations(we have a midterm and final coming up)

In my AP Euro class we watched Waiting for Superman

I’m in my Statistics class right now watching Clue. Haha.

APUSH: Finishing Forrest Gump then “decades” project
AP Physics B: Random science movies (teacher is a science lover) then bridge project
AP Eng lang: Little Miss Sunshine then college essays

@cortana431

Little Miss Sunshine LOL???!

I know, my teacher is a huge fan. I asked her if we could watch Gladiators instead, but she said no.

AP Human Geo: Watch weird stuff my teacher taped off of History Channel in the 90s.
AP World History: We watched Cascablanca and Bringing Home Baby.
APUSH: So far nothing but review for the Standards of Learning tests that everyone has to take.
Lang: Prepare for a “junior speech” on a college you want to go to.
Euro: Work on our final project, which is to create a DBQ. Which is, indeed, quite a lot of crap.

mainly just end of the year projects.

This year, the principal said that AP classes still had to do something after exams, because classes usually do absolutely nothing. I’m a senior so I was done after AP week basically, but for sophomores and juniors in AP classes, they do mostly nothing. AP Gov still does stuff because that teacher is just that way, but classes like APUSH get to watch movies (some related to the class, some not) and play kickball outside. AP Bio watches movies totally unrelated to the class, and so do AP Physics and AP Chem. Last year AP Chem & Physics sometimes went outside and just played around during class. AP Calc AB is learning stuff because the juniors will take AP Calc BC next year, so preparing for that.

In APUSH we play trivial pursuit everyday and in AP lit we work on college essays

We are watching Hotel Rwanda in AP Human Geography

In ap bio, we are having a bio ethics debate X.X in apush we watch the Cosby show:)

cards, sleep, pancakes

AP calc- grade teacher’s papers for other classes -.-
AP Lit- meaningless discussions
US Gov- watch videos on latest news and debate
APES- most of the seniors skip class XD

After World last year, our teacher immediately started us on prepping for the Regents. He was a total ******* because we got more regents prep than we did AP. Complete waste of time, lots of boredom, and general loss of respect for him. I got a 5 on AP and 99 on regents.

This year, US and Lit just ended. In US we’ve been watching Patton. In Lit we got a research paper with 13 class days left. ■■■
