What do you guys think of my chances?

I'm really hoping the UW will see that I'm not dumb, I'm just lazy. I have a 3.2 GPA but a 2110 SAT, as well as 4s in four AP exams and 3 upcoming AP exams, one of which is an independent study. I think I have a pretty good record looking at everything EXCEPT my GPA, so how much weight is the UW going to place on that?

Also, what would you say are my prospects for the honors program? The more I learn about it the more I want in.

And lastly, does anyone know anything about the Music School? I'm auditioning in February and my nervousness for that had totally overshadowed my nervousness to hear back from them.

Thanks for reading!
Emily

Well, if you are applying for a music major I would think that your audition and music skills would hold more of a weight than your academic record. I would focus on the audition if that was the case.

I've heard that the honors program really isn't all that great. My friend's sister got accepted, and she dropped out of honors after a year, because she just hated the honors class (which is only 1/3 classes). Honors is a 10-15% acceptance right I believe, and with those stats, it might be a bit tough. If your recommendation and essay is stellar, you might have a pretty good chance.
