Other Factors:Im pretty sure im gonna get either National Merit Finalist/semifinalist, Parents are both immigrants: dad from Egypt, Mom from Peru. im gonna say extremely humble beginnings but im not exactly sure if thats a factor in admissions.
Hook (if any): Hispanic i guess.? some research stuff as well
Location/Person:LI,NY
State or Country: USA
School Type: extremely competitive public...last year about the top 10-12% of about 400-500 kids in the graduating class went to ivy league and a couple of other went to places like Stanford, MIT,etc.
Ethnicity: Hispanic/Arabic but im pretty sure saying only hispanic will give me an edge
Gender: m

Wait LI? i am just not thinking clear... and how are your SATs a range? Did you get a 2200 you mean? I think it will be a reach to kind of VERY VERY VERY VERY high match if you put full hispanic down but that is kind of being dishonest..

umm li i mean long island...and yea i agree with you but im not sure how much itll help if i put 50/50...but in all honesty i really am more associated with my hispanic roots rather than my arabic roots...for example i am fluent in spanish and not arabic...mainly because virtually all my extended family is hispanic. idn i was just wondering theoretically saying i was both or jus hispanic what chance i would get
