What do you guys want to major in?

Hey,

So the tube/fat envelope has come for all of you, and I'm just wondering, what's everyone's prospective major(s)? Personally, I'm in quite some personal turmoil, but expect to do some combination of EE+CS, Physics, and Math.

So whats about you guys?

Aero/Astro or EE

Linguistics. Or maybe biology. Perhaps one as a major, one as a minor...I'm thinking about med school after...

Chem?

Honestly i think most of us will change our majors sooner or later :P we don't kno enoughh

Mechanical Engineering...I might change it to Chemical Engineering...we'll see if I matriculate to MIT.

Well, of course a lot of you will make other decisions when it comes to actually declaring majors next spring, but get used to the question -- after "Where are you from?", it's probably the most common question you'll be asked until you get a little less prefroshy. :-P

chemical eng! Ill try to survive, since i tried to get into MIT and it worked out : )

i guess possibly a double major with economics and something else..

Major - Course 2AE (MechE with an Alternative Energies Track)
Secondary Major (maybe) - Bioengineering
Minor - Neuropsychology

wow z, looks like you've been doing your research.

Aero/Astro definately for my Major
But wud love to try and do French and German as well to as high a level as possible.

I'm also leaning toward Aero/Astro.

WOO!!! Aero/astro buddies!

Biology, most definitely.

I want to major in physics, but my father would refuse to pay if I just majored in a pure science. So it's looking like physics/EECS (8/6) or physics/aero/astro (8/16) or really anything non-pure-science that I could feasibly pair course 8 up with... maybe physics/CS-oriented math (8/18C) if I'm really lucky.

Materials Science & Engineering / Physics (3/8) double major...mmm.

Astrophysics and/or computer science.

Econ, with math/physics minor
