Seeing as programs on your calculator are completely legal...what do you program on yours before you take the SAT?

Right now I only have a list of prime numbers and the quadratic formula...but I am sure there are many that I do not have that would be immensely helpful.

Supposedly, my math teacher has about fifty programs that can help on the SAT. She has yet to provide them, but then again I'm taking the test in may

you don't really need the programs. i got an 800 in January with no programs. well- i had the distance formula in my calc but did not need to use it.

I agree with ihaterunning- you really don't need formulas. For Math Level 2 you might need formulas, but not on the SAT I Math. [And I got an 800 with no formulas at all as well =P]

Well it's not . . . .
A dictionary is handy in other ways
And it's a TI-89 Titanium, currently more loved than the mp3 player :)
It's going to help me so much on the SAT I and SAT II, I'm getting really excited. I mean, I know you still have to have the basic knowledge, but even if you're stumped, it can get the answer for some questions, plus I don't have to memorize ANY formulas, distance formula, midpoint, series, triangle problems, some other little things, including factoring a number and finding how many primes lie in between 2 #s, all in a snap :D

Could you guys even imagine if we had internet access on the calculators in the near future . . . . or a plug-in that allowed that, without Collegeboard being aware . . . ability to ask anyone online for help, to look up ANY word .. . that would be soo awesome :)

all this talking about a calculator makes me wanan get a ti-89

just wondering how is the dictionary on the ti-89 i know that there is one with 9k words i have the ti 83+ dictionary, it has alot of words but a pain to use it

swatman, doesn't your calc dictionary have the find feature?
and nah, you don't have to clear your calculator. but if you were to use the dictionary during verbal, you better be really good @ the math section. And you better do it very stealthily. Or

But you know, people work on different sections at the same time, so a proctor can't tell unless they are watching YOUR every movement.

na my dictionary sucks, its pointless to use during the test, i use it to study for vocab w/o the vocab cards

just wondering when u say people work on different sections does that mean like working on a math during a CR section? i seen alot of people do it before
