What do you hear about the molecular biology undergraduate program?

Hi,

I saw an interview with David Botstein

<a href="http://genetics.plosjournals.org/perlserv/?request=get-document&doi=10.1371/journal.pgen.0020079%5B/url%5D">http://genetics.plosjournals.org/perlserv/?request=get-document&doi=10.1371/journal.pgen.0020079</a>

and the interview mentioned Princeton's genomics institute

<a href="http://www.princeton.edu/pr/news/02/q3/0922-botstein.htm%5B/url%5D">http://www.princeton.edu/pr/news/02/q3/0922-botstein.htm</a>

and also seemed to mention a special interdisciplinary program in the sciences that sounds quite interesting. Is that the molecular biology undergraduate program?

What do you hear about it? Are any of you planning to apply to that program?

Check out:

Princeton has an integrated science program but also a traditional mol bio major. Two different approaches.

Thanks. The Lewis-Sigler Institute program must be the one mentioned in the interview with Professor Botstein, which I found very intriguing.

How strong is Princeton's Molecular Biology program compared with other Ivies/top schools? What would be the best colleges to apply to for that field?
