<p>It received a #20 ranking in USNWR. Wanted to know if was worth a visit for a couple of Catholic girls who are interested in BS degrees in science and a pre-vet course of study. It would be a safety. </p>

<p>A Catholic girl from my D's Catholic school loved it there. In fact Cal Lutheran visited
our catholic HSto recruit studernts., so I guess that is a sign that Catholics are more than welcome.</p>
<p>The location is a clean fairly safe suburb of LA is great. Only a short drive to Malibu area beaches, no smog, good shopping in town, better weather than most of LA.</p>
<p>It's good to get both sets of info. Still curious about program. If anyone else has info I'd love to hear from you.</p>
<p>Our catholic high school every year publishes a list of where their students are admitted. Over the last few years I have noticed Cal Lutheran appear quite often.
My D has several classmates go to Cal Lutheran for sports. Of the 3 none of them overly religious. From what I have heard all are still attending.</p>
<p>Thanks everyone. It sounds like the school is at least worth a look for them. They do have a "thing" with So. California schools that seem too So. California for them so it may not meet with their fit criteria. But we'll still stop in and let them asses.</p>
