What do you know about Penn State - Greater Allegheny?

<p>I see most of PSU's 20 or so campuses discussed on these forums. But I wanted to check info and opinions on this PSU campus that I am strongly considering (but never visited, I'm international student from around the world). Thanks for any insight!</p>

<p>what other schools are you considering vs. Penn State Allegheny? I don’t really see Penn State branch campuses as an attractive option for an international student. They tend to be commuter colleges with limited on campus housing.</p>

<p>PS I noticed your other post that you are decided between Purdue and Penn State 2+2. My instinct would be to choose Purdue which would offer a more complete college experience.</p>

<p>Also- you have some older posts asking about graduate programs in landscape architecture. Was that also you?</p>

<p>Good point, I don’t really want a commuter campus, although would consider it for 2 years if it was for a more useful degree and overall education.</p>

<p>And yes, your astute observation is correct. That’s my older brother, he started this account, then gave to me since he doesn’t need it now</p>

<p>with those two choices I’d go for Purdue. Though honestly I would think a university in a major city would be more convenient since you are traveling from around the world. Purdue is 3 hours from Chicago and 1 hour from Indianapolis. Since you are looking at Spring admission at Purdue maybe you can check out some other options.</p>
