What do you know about these schools in Ohio?

Ohio Wesleyan
Ohio State
College of Wooster

I have friends that go to a couple of these schools, but I was wondering how they would compare to Vassar (outside of rankings, selectivity, etc.)

Vassar's better.

Ohio State's close though.

I can't really compare them.

They're all different.

I'm ambiguous.

It is more Ohio Wesleyan and Wooster vs Ohio State.

OSU is large, fairly anonymous, in big city, more middle class kind of school, grads and undergrads, a lot research opportunities, strong greek life.

Ohio Wesleyan and Wooster: both in small towns, middle-to-upperclass schools, liberal artsy, more pc-granola-crunchy type of crowd, small classes, emphasis on teaching, not big greek life.

OWU vs Wooster: Wooster has a required senior thesis and as a result more of its graduates go for a PhD than OWU. OWU is more international and more diverse, closer to the big city, much stronger in sciences, while Wooster is stronger in the humanities, OWU attracts more New England kids, while Wooster is more Ohio-heavy (though both have large out-of-state populations).

What about Ohio University- Athens?

Not a bad school but big on partying (and Athens is somewhat sleepy).
