In terms of academics, admissions selectivity, student body, general vibe of campus, the surrounding area (Philadelpia) etc..it is basically my first choice, but I'm not too into it because I've read that the transfer acceptance isn't too high but just enough to warrant an application from me..

Wonderful school in a great city. The student body has a lot of esprit. There is a strong alumni base as well. It is not rediculously hard to get into, but no automatic either.

Yes, generally affluent, suburban, peppy. Students seem to like it a lot. It’s in a lovely location if you like ritzy suburbs. There’s decent commuter train service to the city, but it ends around midnight, so getting back can be a problem. (Cabs work, but cost a fair amount. Many students have cars.) There are some student-friendly things to do around the campus itself, but not more than you would find in an isolated college town. There are actually a fair number of smaller colleges within a couple-mile radius, too: Haverford, Bryn Mawr, Rosemont, Cabrini, Eastern.

Villanova has a strong regional base that probably extends to New York City to the north and includes eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, and most of New Jersey. Not so much a national school, except in hoops.
