<p>Columbia's dorms are a mixed bag. Some are very nice (Broadway, Furnald, John Jay) others are by far worse than dorms at any other Ivy (McBain, Ruggles, etc). Luck of thr draw...</p>
<p>The project looking dorm is Carman. Its a dump but its fun.</p>
<p>I think Penn edges out Columbia for worst on-campus housing.</p>
<p>Hill? Kings Court English House? Superblock? Mayer? Stouffer? Basically everything is horrible except for the Quad.</p>
<p>McBain's been partially refurbished and parts of it are nice. It's now the sophomore dorm of choice for those who enjoyed the social scene in Carman. Article in today's Spec.</p>
