I've recently been accepted to Minnesota and i cant decide if that is really where i want to go. what are some of the things that you guys like and dislike the most about the U? i can start off by saying that i love the Twin Cities, the mostly underrated academics, and the opportunites. i dislike the overall feel of the campus and the enormous size. any of your guys thoughts are appreciated, thanks.

I like that if you choose to make a community for yourself despite the large size of the school, it is very easy to do so. There are so many groups on campus and the dorms make a lot of efforts to unite students on the floors and the buildings as a whole. I like it's proximity to a larger metropolitan area, but that it still feels enough like a cohesive campus as to not feel abandoned out in the city. I agree that the large campus size is not for everyone, but I believe that there are ways to make your own smaller experience and have it be just as enjoyable.

Hope that helps.

excellent, thank you

there are countless opportunities upon graduation. more fortune 500 countries in the area than almost any other school. the music scene is great, and almost all of my favorite artists always stop in the cities when they tour. plenty of other big city events always going as well. the campus is easy to walk and safe. downtown is a 5 minute bus ride away. there's plenty to do to keep busy. it's a relatively cheap college for the experience it gives students.

i dislike several aspects, but the positives greatly outweigh these annoyances. and the campus is really nice, and really not that big. it takes 10 minutes to get across campus with the buses, and never more than 15 minutes to get to a class
