What do you love about Cornell?

Open ended question, just, in general, what are you favorite aspects of Cornell (for current, former, prospective students).

Ability to do research with a really well renowned prof, it's amazing.

Cuz i love my bio textbook which is written by a Cornell prof...lol

meet lots of amazing ppl

ILR: totally sweet curriculum, dedicated professors, close-knit community. There's a palpable sense of camaraderie everywhere.

What attracted me most to Cornell was that , they have the most down to earth people compared to the other ivys. The campus is also amazing!!!!!!

finally a more interesting thread than "chance my extremely competitive resume with most rigorous courseload". seriously, can we put a ban on those?
but anyway, what i love about cornell...
chilling around the gothics on a friday night on your way back from a party. the unpolluted sky lets you see a ton of stars, the clock tower looms in the distance up the hill, the architecture feels like something out of a harry potter movie and you look at some of the names etched into the walls and you think "god damn this place has some history." you and your friends are stumbling around like drunken idiots (maybe/maybe not) and you think about how people have been doing the same **** for years. makes you feel like your a part of something bigger than you, the continuation of some great tradition. i think cornell has awesome traditions and if your nostalgic enough to appreciate them the place will be a dream come true.

The size, the scenery, the # of courses.

the hotel school and the statler :D

sledding down libe slope!

Just got in ED to CAS... you guys make it sound awesome, can't wait to get there (seriously, I'm sick of high school, I really can't wait). I was attracted by the huge course selection and research opportunities, by the way.

Catherwood libe chairs. and partying. and ILR.
