pretty sure it's 1.25/load. Why do you wash so many clothes trasi?

haha, i've used only $3 since comming here!!

I agree with that sparticus. It's certainly all here. Syracuse just has those stores that you can only find in high end malls. No Express clothing in Ithaca. but, the food in Ithaca is also fantastic.

You know, i think people complain so much because they dont bother to check out everything that Ithaca has. Get on a dang bus! Cornell gave us free season bus passes, use them! My girlfriend and I went to the mall last weekend, and it was a great time! An expensive time, but a great one!

Also, people need to go to wegmans. I grew up next to one, it's the greatest thing ever.

I have absolutely no idea how I spend so much on laundry...it feels like I do an average amount. But some of my friends have spent upwards of $40 since we've been here so I'm not the only one.

Anyway, I have to say again that I'm not really complaining about the shopping in Ithaca - I'm just saying that if I had to pick something that I miss while here at school (besides free laundry), it would be shopping at my favorite stores.

Laundary isn't so bad, if you wash once a week it's only $2.50. So it's like 35 cents a day to keep your clothes clean. If you wash 3 items worn per day * 7 days a week = 21 total items, then that is just over 1 cent per day per piece of clothes to keep yourself clean. That isn't so bad. I like to look at the things with the glass is half full.

And to add to what gomestar said, people should really be using their bus pass. I'm surprised about how many people I know that don't bother to take advantage of it. Ithaca is only extremely small if you fail to take advantage of its opportunities, and one great one being the free bus this year.

I've used about 30 dollars since I've been here...I generally run two machines at once because I change several times a day, oh well.

The free bus pass is pretty sweet.

The mall is alright, but it's not like I can afford much anyways, considering I'm a poor college student who is about to spend all her money on hockey tickets.

i beg to differ... there's some girls that look quite sexy in uggs and miniskirts

yeah, but they'd probably look better in clothes that don't make you vomit...I don't mind the skirts...just the uggs...

Yes, it's not the boot/miniskirt combo - I wear that myself - it's just Uggs in general. Not only are they so overplayed that it's just sad to be seen wearing them now, but I refuse to wear fur and Uggs are made with sheepskin. I say, get some nice knee-high boots or this season's slouchy kind and everything will be better.

Spanks - yes, see, I needed another girl here - I think we just wear more clothes so we spend more in laundry.

Oh, and I love my bus pass - I use it to get to class, I need it for my horseback riding PE, and I have gone to Pyramid mall and the Commons several times. Does anyone know if we get them free next year or if it is only a freshman thing?

I thought the bus passes were for this year and next. Originally, it was supposed to be freshman and sophomores next year get them, so I'm assuming we'll get them as sophomores.
