What do you make for dinner when your mom doesnt come home?

I dont usually like to cook on the stove cause then i have to do dishes. Usually i have popcorn and ice cream. Sometimes I make fish sticks. Cereal is good to, but its cold out.

Its funny, its almost 8 and my mom isn’t home yet so I just went out. Chunky soup for the win! Either that or hotdogs, chicken breast and vegetables, or a turkey burger.

Pierogies
OR
Chicken fingers
OR
Mac and cheese
OR
Ramen Noodles
OR
Any good leftovers in the fridge.

I’m at work right now (well the traffic is slow so I’m using my phone to access CC :D) so after work I normally run to a nearby food shop and grab something to go. Not exactly the healthiest daily dinner option, I know. Sometimes I’ll just make my own dinner once I get home though. My parents both work full-time and my mom is on business trips 200 days of the year. A well-cooked family dinner is like getting a holiday! :)

My default meal is a microwaved potato.

My mom’s usually home or else she has food ready, but if not, my brother usually cooks ramen noodles.

I make my sister prepare me a sammich. If there’s nobdy home, I ***** and moan for somebody to get home faster. Otherwise, I starve because I’m too stoopid to care for myself

I like stuff i can eat on my bed while im on my laptop, but soup is a good idea. I love perogies. Everything i put on the grocery list my mom never gets.

I cook for myself normally, so whatever. Couscous is pretty good. I can’t think of what I normally eat.

Hotpockets anyone?

Frozen Pizzas
Hot dogs
Macaroni & Cheese
Ramen Noodle Soups
Popcorn
Candy
Del Taco

I usually purchase a sandwich.

I’m terrible at cooking.

pizza ftw

I don’t get why all the Asians I know don’t like or despise pizza. I LOVE IT SO MUCH.

I always have a can of chili at hand

except now that my mom isn’t actually here…

maybe I should go shopping

I also need tea

I need to find a supermarket

I like ramen noodles, but real chunky soup is better. Like the canned kind. I wish i had a frozen pizza. They dont cook good in the microwave and i hate using the oven. I just had chocolate chip cookies, but they are all gone, so i got some wheatable nut crisps. It must be cool in college when you can go to the cafeteria whenever you want and get anything!

imagine all the sodium yikes how do you guys deal with that

I think sodium is a bigger deal for the older and fatter crowd.

Not to stereotype, but I bet the [majority] of people on CC are reasonably skinny.
