What do you mean by "Rushing Scores"?

When I sent my score report, in payment Collegeboard asked whether I want to pay $10 and send it by normal mail or pay a little more and send it quicker. I didn't understand this. If my scores are being sent through the internet, this question is moot isn't it? Are the official score reports sent in paper form instead?

I’m not quite sure, but I think the college decides whether they like to receive scores by mail or electronically. The college(s) you are sending scores to most likely want them to be mailed out, and it usually takes Collegeboard 2-4 weeks to send your scores by mail. If you do the rush mail and pay more it only takes 2 business days.

So, if the school wants them mailed electronically, it would be mentioned in the payment?

Another question, if one uses the Free score reports, then how soon do the scores reach the school?

It is mentioned when you are in the process of sending scores whether the college has them sent electronically or by mail.

Sorry, but I’m actually not sure about the answer to your second question. I know that the scores are sent to colleges the same day that you recieve your scores, but I don’t know whether it takes 2-4 days or 2-4 weeks after you receive your scores.
