<p>For SAT/GPA scores, take a look at each colleges website; quite often they will list the range of SAT/GPA scores for the middle 50% of students (sometimes enrolled students, sometimes applicants) That will give you a general idea of what to shoot for.</p>
<p>Just get on CollegeBoard and check out each school's page</p>
<p>2100+ is good. 2-4 significant activities you are very dedicated to. show some well-roundness as well as an/some area of expertise.

<p>thanks guys...about the middle 50%, is that a good number to look at? I mean, should I strive to match the numbers of the AVERAGE student in that school? Wouldn't that just make my application the same as anyone elses?</p>
<p>Always strive to be in the top 25% number-wise. However, it's not the end of the world if your SAT score is in the mid 50%; just make sure that your essays, recs, etc make up for it.</p>
