What do you think are my chances of getting into NYU and Fordham University?

I applied to both and I am very nervous, still waiting for the decision. To start off, my GPA weighted is a 4.0 and unweighted it is a 3.6667. Because of my AP's this year my GPA should rise but it would be the end of the year. The part that worries me is my SAT, I took it twice. The first time I scored a 1510, and the second 1540. I'm really not a good test taker but work hard. Here is a whole break down of my 4 years and grades.

I went on a P2P student ambassador trip to Australia right before high school started and mentioned that in my essay

Lastly, I live in the south (originally from NY) and the high school I am in now has a reputation of being one of the best public schools in the state, if that matters. I also am African american, people tell me that can help my chances (not completely of course), but I've never really believed them, is it true?

What do you want to major in? If it’s an art, then most of your academic stuff might not matter (your audition will hold more weight for example).

If I get into NYU Ill major in uban design and planning. For Fordham, urban studies

with that SAT, odds at either are probably under 20% for a non-URM, but as you are URM, under 40%.

Fortunately for you, NYU will allow you to substitute 3 SAT II tests for the SAT. Holy Cross, which is not THAT different from Fordham, is SAT optional.

Thanks for the response. About the SAT II, isn’t it too late for me to take that and submit my scores?

Also, what exactly is URM?
