<p>Like the other people said here, I think the increased ACT score will help you greatly. NYU Stern has like a ~20% acceptance rate, so it’s pretty selective. I think you could definitely have some interesting essays to write about to. And yeah your ECs are all pretty solid, but to separate yourself from all of the other white males applying to Stern, your essays are going to be the thing that gets you through. Plus the low GPA could be accounted for by these essays, just to give another idea of how important they’re going to be for your application. But if the GPA shows an upward trend from freshman year, then I think you that’d they’d overlook it. </p>
