what do you think are my chances of getting into UC Irvine, Santa Barbara, CSU Long Beach, Pepperdine???
I already got denied from UCLA and UC San Diego and San Diego State
I got Accepted to CSULA and CSU Fullerton (but everyone got accepted there so they dont count)

decent at all, but CSULB I’d say. CSULB is only accepting 7-8% of their applicants this year and those in the local area get preference(I’m guessing you are though since you applied to CSUF and UCI as well though) can’t give exact numbers though. your SAT is a bit on the low side though.

CSULB is a in. Xelink, CSULB accepts more like 40-50%, only 7-8% will actually ATTEND.

Not sure about Pepperdine, but I can tell you UCI will be a long shot. Both your SAT’s and GPA are significantly below the average. (UCI has an average GPA of 4.01 and SAT of around 1870) Since UC’s love your GPA and test scores, you are at a disadvantage.

As usual, however, I will say that you always have a shot. Good luck.

navy, CSULB, Accepted 44% of applicants.
the year before they accepted even more
and the year before
and the year before…

CSULB’s administration had their head up somewhere. This year it’s 7.7%

and I’ve heard councilors and peers alike going crazy over it. I don’t know if it’s true or if it’s been adjusted but I’ve heard people around here talking as CSULB has been the school of choice for my CC(orange coast college) as it’s the closest CSU to it.

^The Long Beach Press Telegram article that Wikipedia references is incorrect in it’s calculations. The writer confused the enrollment rate with the acceptance rate. 7.7% is the percentage of total applicants expected to enroll, not accepted.

so you’re right. ehh, I got in either way. don’t care, going to Irvine.
