<p>soon i'm going to be launching a website to sell the bags and tees I make, and I'm planning to donate 50% to charity (and use the other half for college savings, since my parents have not exactly done a good job of preparing for that). If this is successful, could it be stand out? (along with the fact that I take fashion design and art classes outside of school and volunteer for the Dress for Success organization?)</p>
<p>I'm begging you to do what you love without regard for the college application process. If your SATs and GPA aren't top notch, your EC's on your app aren't going to matter anyway. Live your life. When the day comes to fill out applications, your essay will be genuine. Please don't spend your teen years with one eye on what some admissions department is looking for.</p>
<p>my stand out factor is definitely my hula dancing. In all of my interviews, they have dwelled on that for a loooong time.</p>
