I know youll get into PSU but Schreyers maybe maybe not.
Colgate- bit of a reach unless you go ED or something. Than youd have a good chance.
Cornell- No chance
Dartmouth- No chance
Marist- Youll probably get in Low match?
Northeastern- Bit of a reach
RPI- Match
SUNY Binghamton- See Marist
SUNY Geneseo- Safety
UPenn Wharton- No chance
Rochester- Match. ED would help a lot here too!
Are you a junior rn? If you are, I would really focus on improving those test scores for any chance at an Ivy. If you don’t improve them very much, I would suggest EDing to one of your reachier schools like Colgate, Northeastern, or U Rochester. It would definitely push you over the edge at those places. If youre a senior, good luck!
Rochester: You’ll get in.
Wharton: Definitely not.
Two Sunys and RPI: You will get in.
Northeastern: You’re getting in.
Marist: You will get in.
Dartmouth: Definitely not.
Colgate: No. Your scores aren’t high enough.
Colgate: I think it’s likely, but don’t bank on it.
Penn State Honors: Not sure. Kind of up to luck.
Penn State: You’ll get in, obviously.
Your scores are lower than average for Northeastern, same for Rochester. I don’t know why the above posters would tell you you have good chances of getting into either of those schools.
You have a very good shot at Marist, the 2 SUNYs, Penn State and RPI.
Unless you have a hook you are not disclosing here, the 3 Ivies on your list won’t happen and Colgate will be very tough.
According to the colgate.edu site, the Class of 2020 accepted middle SAT range was 660-750 critical reading; 670-770 math. Of course, SATs are only one component of an application, and every college has its own way of weighting what they represent.
Posters who offer “advice” really should be thoughtful and consultative about how they arrive at and deliver their conclusions.
Colgates a weird school to predict. I’d call it a reach based on your schools but wouldn’t say definitely no. I doubt most of these people are aware for the different admissions stats of Cornell ag. I think you have a small chance there. Marist PSU and SUNYs I think your fine. RPI and NEU are reaches. Dartmouth and Wharton are kind of out of reach. Hope you get into one of the reaches though you definitely have a shot!
